Please request our FREE Festival Activity Packs Here. These are optional (if you don't wish to participate, simply request '0' in the drop down menu). They include activity sheets and key activity tools (e.g. a dragon), and social media graphics for promotion. Both packs are fully bilingual and link to our website using a QR code to reveal a prize / additional online bonus activity. Max order per museum is 250 packs. We can supply a black, white and grey scale digital file so that you can print out and photocopy additional packs if required. AND, new this year, there's a very simple activity to keep teenagers engaged.

Suitable for children 3 - 8 years, packs include activity sheets of activities and fun facts about dragons and Wales. Museum teams simply need to hide a cuddly dragon somewhere among the collections (preferably out of reach) and hand out activity sheets to visiting families, free of charge. All we ask is that you promote the activity using graphics and copy that we will supply, and by displaying festival bunting (see below to order). You will also need to complete a short festival evaluation survey and engage in the visitor survey that we supply.

NEW this year a Pirate and Treasure themed 'Riddle me This' activity sheet for 8 -12 year olds, filled with hidden museum, history, geology, archaeology and natural history words, numbers and secret codes to unlock a treasure chest of bonus material. Puzzles and riddles are generic to all museums. Simply hand out the sheets and be determined not to help out with answers! All we ask is that you promote the activity using graphics and copy that we will supply, and by displaying festival bunting (see below to order). You will also need to complete a short festival evaluation survey and engage in the visitor survey that we supply.

Also NEW this year, our Instagram Photo and Caption Competition for Teenagers 13 -19 yrs. Teenagers will choose from up to three theme words, take a picture within the museum and its environs that responds to the word theme, upload them using #historichalfterm #hannertymorhanesyddol hashtags onto Instagram, and we'll choose the best for a prize (to be decided upon, and a few runners up). If you'd like to promote the competition at your museum, please order a small quantity of bilingual tent cards that you can display across your musuem, and simply remind families with teenagers that there's an activity for them too!

Please select the promotional tools and quantities you would like to order below. If you're running Here Be Dragons or Riddle Me This activities, you may want to order stickers as give aways. Likewise stickers are great for other activities you may be presenting during the Festival - and we have new sticker designs this year. Our pencils are more expensive to produce, so we would ask that you consider them to be a more limited prize / freebe. All museums taking part in the festival are expected to display our colourful festival bunting in the days running up to the festival and the duration. If you have any of the above left over in stores from previous years, please help us manage our tight budgets by ordering accordingly.
